What’s Happening
A striking pink race helmet worn by Supercars driver David Reynolds at the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is turning heads for more than its bold design, it’s raising funds for breast cancer research. The custom helmet, created by renowned artist Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint, features Gold Coast-inspired artwork and the iconic pink livery symbolising Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Presented by Lloyds Auctions and JAX Tyres & Auto, this is the third annual collaboration supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The race-worn helmet is now open for bidding on the Lloyds Auctions website until Monday, 27 October at 10am AEST, with every dollar raised going directly to NBCF.
Why It Matters
Behind the vibrant colour and craftsmanship lies a shared mission: helping the fight against breast cancer.
“Breast cancer touches so many families, and if this helmet can help raise funds to fight it, then I’m proud to do my part,” said David Reynolds.
Lloyds Auctions Chief Operations Officer, Lee Hames, said the team was proud to partner with JAX Tyres & Auto and Reynolds once again. “These helmets are rare pieces of motorsport history and already generating buzz among Supercars enthusiasts across the country,” Mr Hames said.
JAX Tyres & Auto Chief Franchising Operations Officer, April Harwood, described the partnership as a point of pride. “We’re incredibly proud to reveal this year’s pink helmet as part of our ongoing partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation,” she said.

The Gold Coast 500 draws thousands of fans each year, and this campaign gives locals and visitors a way to connect with a cause that affects many Australian families.
