Redland City, Aug. 4, 2023 – The Redland City Council’s Community Grants Program continues to be a driving force behind transformative projects that enhance the quality of life on Redlands Coast. With a steadfast commitment to supporting the local community, the program provides essential funding to a diverse range of projects across various categories.
The Community Grants Program offers opportunities for eligible not-for-profit community organisations and individuals to secure funding in three distinct categories:
Organisation Support: This category is tailored to assist community organisations in building their capacity and capability. Funding can be utilised for training programs, equipment purchases, and other essential resources that strengthen the organisation’s ability to serve the community effectively.
Project Support: Individuals and organisations with innovative ideas for community development, cultural heritage preservation, environment conservation, or sport and recreation are encouraged to apply for Project Support grants. These grants provide crucial financial backing to bring these impactful projects to life.
Conservation Grants: As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, the Redland City Council offers Conservation Grants to support initiatives that protect and preserve the region’s natural heritage. Eligible projects can range from habitat restoration to biodiversity conservation efforts.
Local community organisations and individuals with passionate visions for the betterment of Redlands Coast can now submit their grant applications to the Redland City Council.
