Removal of hazardous materials and unstable structures from past occupiers will ensure safety for all.
Already connected to electricity, plans include sewerage and WiFi connections, priming the building for a new role as a community space within the precinct.
Restoring the Past for Generations to Come
Simultaneously, the restoration of the Willards Farm homestead by Baroque Group Pty Ltd signifies another milestone.
This initiative aims to reinforce the homestead’s foundation, securing its legacy for future generations.
Councillor Paul Bishop highlighted the station’s historical significance, having received critical wartime messages.
These restoration efforts, guided by Australian Heritage Specialists, will preserve this legacy for posterity.
