Redlands Coast, August 30, 2023– Redlands Coast is changing the closing hours of its Mainland Recycling and Waste Centers.
Starting September 1, 2023, these centres will close at 4:30 p.m., with the last vehicle allowed in at 4:15 p.m.
The adjustment optimises operations based on visitor patterns, ensuring efficient service. The Mainland Recycling and Waste Centers will operate seven days a week, offering 9.5 hours per day, except for two days.
Island Recycling and Waste Centers’ hours remain unaffected. To streamline visits, residents are encouraged to sort materials before arriving and wait until they have a full load. Those with smaller loads can use kerbside bin services, including green waste collection.
