What’s Happening?
Community organisations across Queensland can now apply for the State Government’s 2027 Celebrating Reconciliation Grants Program.
The program supports community-led events and activities during National Reconciliation Week, encouraging greater cultural understanding and stronger connections. Applications close on 18 December 2026.
Why It Matters
The grants provide an opportunity for communities to take meaningful action towards reconciliation through activities that promote respect, inclusion and social cohesion.
By supporting local initiatives, the program aims to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Queenslanders.
Local Impact
Eligible organisations throughout Queensland can seek funding for reconciliation activities, provided they are based in the state and deliver their proposed events within Queensland.
