What’s Happening?

The Redlands Regional Jobs Committee is continuing its work on local workforce solutions for Redlands Coast.

The committee works with employers, industry, education providers, community organisations and government.

Its focus is on practical workforce ideas shaped by local business needs.

A major part of this work is the new Redlands Coast Jobs Hub.

The free online platform connects Redlands Coast employers with local job seekers.

It is designed to do more than list available jobs.

The Jobs Hub uses AI-supported technology through AirCV to help match candidates with suitable roles.

It can identify transferable skills, hidden local talent and stronger candidate-job matches.

Employers can search AirCV candidate profiles and build their own Talent Pool.

That means businesses can find prospective candidates to contact immediately or in the future.

The Jobs Hub is also built for students, career changers and job seekers.

It supports underused workforce groups, including youth and mature-age workers.

Why It Matters?

Redlands Coast businesses need practical ways to find and retain workers.

At the same time, many locals need better access to nearby employment opportunities.

The Jobs Hub helps bring both sides together in one place.

It gives employers a stronger view of available local talent.

It also helps job seekers show skills that may suit roles across different industries.

This matters for people who may not follow a traditional career path.

A student may use it to explore future work options.

A mature-age worker may use it to show past skills in a new way.

A career changer may use it to connect with roles they had not considered before.

For employers, the platform can help reduce time spent searching for suitable candidates.

It also supports long-term workforce planning through employer Talent Pools.

By the Numbers

  • One free online Jobs Hub now gives Redlands Coast employers and job seekers a local workforce platform.
  • Six key platform features support users, including local job listings, skills matching, AirCV profiles, Talent Pools, career information and training links.
  • Four early webinar topics will focus on the tight labour market, recruitment tools, hidden local talent and migration options for employers.

Local Impact

The Jobs Hub aims to strengthen workforce participation across Redlands Coast.

It gives local employers another way to find people who already live nearby.

That can help businesses build more stable teams.

It can also help keep local skills within the region.

For job seekers, the platform offers a clearer way to connect with Redlands employment opportunities.

For students, it can support early career planning.

For older workers, it can help show experience that still has strong value.

For career changers, it can make transferable skills easier for employers to see.

The broader goal is clear: local jobs, local talent and real outcomes for Redlands Coast.

Zoom In

The Redlands Coast Jobs Hub includes several practical tools for employers and job seekers.

These include:

  • Local job opportunities
  • AI-supported skills matching
  • AirCV candidate profiles
  • Employer Talent Pools
  • Career pathway information
  • Workforce support resources

The AirCV feature is one of the key points of difference.

It allows candidates to present their skills in a more flexible way.

Employers can then search those profiles and identify people who may suit their current needs.

They can also save possible candidates into Talent Pools for future roles.

This helps businesses think beyond immediate vacancies.

It also helps build stronger long-term workforce pipelines across the region.
