Bayside Property Crime Team detectives have charged a 33-year old man following investigations into alleged technology store thefts across Brisbane’s south. The alleged offences involved businesses in Mansfield, Coopers Plains, Salisbury and Victoria Point.

Police allege the offences occurred at technology stores on Secam Street in Mansfield and Rosedale Street in Coopers Plains. The other locations were Evans Road in Salisbury and Bunker Road in Victoria Point.
Following the investigation, detectives arrested the 33-year-old at a Waterford West address on 13 September. Police further allege he possessed methylamphetamine, testosterone, pipes and a grinder connected with drug offences.
The property charges include two counts of attempted entry with intent to commit an indictable offence. They also include two counts of entering premises with the same intent.
In addition, three charges cover other alleged entries. One alleges entering premises and committing an indictable offence by break. Another alleges entry by break with intent, while the third alleges entry and committing an indictable offence.
Police also laid one count each of stealing and receiving tainted property.
The drug-related charges include possession of a Schedule 1 dangerous drug at a Schedule 3 quantity or higher. Police allege the amount remained below Schedule 4, while another charge concerns possession of dangerous drugs.
Further charges concern used utensils or pipes and property suspected of involvement in a drug offence. Finally, he faces one count of contravening a domestic violence order.
Police bail was refused, and his first appearance was listed at Cleveland Magistrates Court on 14 September.
