What’s Happening?
The Albanese Government has activated the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) to support communities impacted by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Eligible residents in Redland City and other affected areas can now access one-off financial assistance to help recover from damage caused by the cyclone.

By the Numbers
- $1,000 per eligible adult and $400 per eligible child are available through the AGDRP for those who suffered serious damage or injury.
- Up to $80,000 in Structural Assistance Grants for uninsured, low-income owner-occupiers with unsafe homes.
- Between $150 – $750 in Essential Services Hardship Assistance, depending on household size, for those who lost power, water, or sewerage for more than five days.
