The 2025 Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog will take place on Sunday 8 June at Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks. Hosted by Dementia Australia, the event encourages locals to walk or run to support people impacted by dementia. Actor and MC Takaya Honda will join participants for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising.
Why it matters
Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and the leading cause of death among Australian women. This annual event promotes brain health while raising critical funds for dementia support, care, and research.
