Spanning across suburbs from Alexandra Hills to Wellington Point, this free family event invites all hands on deck to plant over 500 seedlings, supporting the vulnerable Glossy Black-Cockatoo.

These majestic birds rely solely on she-oak tree seeds for sustenance, making this planting effort crucial to their survival.
Join forces with the Redland City Council and Russell Island’s Bushcare team at 42–44 Kings Street, Russell Island, from 9:30 am to 11 a.m. Don’t fret about tools and supplies; the council provides everything from plants and sunscreen to gardening gloves.
