In an effort to bolster the international trade aspirations of local businesses, the Redland City Council is hosting an informative session focused on exploring export and trade prospects with India.

Indian Export and Trade Informative Session

Abhinav Bhatia, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for South Asia at Trade and Investment Queensland will deliver valuable insights into the export and trade landscape, especially in light of the Australia-India Free Trade Agreement and Queensland-India Trade and Investment Strategy.

Scheduled for Friday, October 6, in Redland Bay, this complimentary event aims to equip local businesses with the essential knowledge required to become both ‘India ready’ and ‘export ready.’

Mayor Karen Williams expressed enthusiasm about this opportunity for business owners and leaders to tap into the ever-expanding Indian market. Mr. Bhatia, a respected business leader based in India, will provide guidance on successfully navigating the complexities of the Indian market and shed light on the myriad opportunities awaiting entrepreneurs and investors.

The event agenda encompasses a Q&A session, networking opportunities, and valuable information for those seeking to explore further trade and export avenues, including details about India’s premier business summit, Vibrant Gujarat, slated for January 2024.
