Redland City Council Invests $4.8 Million in Digital Transformation Program

Redland City Council has taken a major step forward in its Digital Transformation Program with a significant investment of $4.8 million from the 2023/24 budget. This move demonstrates the council’s commitment to modernising its operations and improving its constituents’ services.

The Digital Transformation Program, expected to span four to seven years, has been identified as a crucial project in the council’s corporate plan. Mayor Karen Williams emphasised the program’s multifaceted objectives, including streamlining council processes, strengthening cyber protection systems, and enhancing customer interaction.

Mayor Williams highlighted the importance of the allocated funding in driving efficiencies throughout the organisation, resulting in cost savings and more effective service delivery to the community.
