What’s happening?

Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two Capalaba men after investigating an alleged armed robbery at a Capalaba home.

Police will allege two people gained access to a property on a Capalaba street during the early morning. The single male occupant was allegedly assaulted before several items were stolen from the home.

The 51-year-old man was not injured.

Following inquiries, officers arrested the two men the next day at a Holland Crescent address. Both were taken into custody and later remanded.

Why it matters?

The case involves serious allegations linked to a home entry, personal violence and stolen property.

Local Impact

The charges follow an investigation by Bayside detectives and will now move through the court process.

Capalaba residents may see the case as a reminder to report suspicious activity, especially around homes and nearby streets.

The matter will be heard at the Cleveland Magistrates Court later this year.
