What’s happening?
A Victoria Point woman woke up speechless after learning her keno ticket was worth $108,086.70.
The Redland City resident hit the Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 932, held last Monday, 23 March 2026.
She bought the winning entry at Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club, 325 Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point.
The woman said she first thought she had read the result incorrectly when she checked her ticket online the next morning.
Why it matters?
The win came from a simple family habit and a small change in how she played.
“Whenever we go out for a family dinner once a month, I always put $20 on Keno. That’s it and never anything more.”
“I always use the same numbers too. They’re full of our family’s birthday numbers.”
“Instead of playing $1 games this time, I thought I’d try $2 games.”
It turned a regular night out into a six-figure result.
Local impact
The winning ticket was bought at a popular Victoria Point venue, giving the story a strong local angle for Redlands readers.
The woman said the prize would go toward practical plans at home.
“I’m in need of a new car, and our house could do with some renos,” she shared.
“I have no idea what sort of car I’ll be getting. I’ll have to go car shopping this weekend.”
