Salvation Army welcomes new leaders to Bayside Corps

Major Nathan and Captain Kylie Hodges

What’s happening?

The Salvation Army has appointed Major Nathan and Captain Kylie Hodges as the new Corps Officers for the Salvation Army Bayside Corps in Alexandra Hills.

The couple recently moved to the Redlands community with their three children and their dog to begin leading Bayside Salvos.

Their experience includes leadership of multiple churches, regional youth programs and children’s ministries. They have also held a recruitment role across New South Wales and the ACT, South Australia and now Queensland.

Before entering Salvation Army officership, Major Nathan worked as a youth worker. His passion for youth and children’s ministry has continued through his work and leadership.

Nathan enjoys creative approaches to ministry within The Salvation Army and how the church connects with people in the community.
