Redland City is gearing up for an explosion of culture and vibrancy at the upcoming Heritage & Harmony Fiesta, a free community event set to take place on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
From 9 am to 3 pm, the Redland Museum will come alive with a kaleidoscope of activities, performances, and workshops celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that call Redland City home.
A Feast for the Senses
Prepare to be dazzled by an array of multicultural dancers and entertainers, showcasing their talents from around the globe.
From the graceful movements of the Regency Dancers to the infectious energy of the Rio Carnival Samba Brazilian dancers, there’s something to captivate every audience member.
Interactive Workshops and Traditional Crafts
Delve deeper into cultural traditions with interactive workshops offering insights into hula dancing, Indigenous boomerang crafting, and bead making.
For those with a penchant for traditional crafts, the Redlands Spinners and Weavers group will be on hand to demonstrate rag matting, spinning, and weaving techniques.
Family-Friendly Fun
Children will be entertained throughout the day with face painting by Fairy Raine, magic shows by Johnny the Jester, and rides on the land train.
They can also explore the interactive Thomas the Tank train set and get creative at the craft table.
